Hello, I have a client who prints a report that is displayed in internet
explorer. Last week she claims that she got some sort of prompt to install a
"java update" or some sort of java plugin. She said that she canceled it and
ever since then when she prints this 6 page report from IE, the print job
condenses the entire 6 pages to 1 page. She can print fine out of every other
application - it's just this one report that comes from an external website.
We've already tried updating the printer driver. Is there a way to force this
IE java update to prompt us to install again? It very much sounds like this
is what caused the problem. Thank you.

We'd need to know the full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) and
the IE version to be able to assist you here.

The above notwithstanding, she may be running IE7. If so, she can select a
setting other than Shrink To Fit (the default in IE7) via IE File | Print
preview.

Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to post to and seek

You may have to install your printer to your computer so that you are able to
print your report
