Were having an issue are making a few changes to internet security using goup
policy. If a users doesn't have IE open, and has an external home page or a
url shortcut to an external site, when they open IE time out and the page
cannot be display. However if they then open a new instance of IE or run the
shortcut again the page loads fine, if the first instance is still running.
I'm not sure what change may have caused this, by any help much apprieciated.

Many thanks, Dylan.

Hi Dylan,

What is the Homepage domain. Is that domain in your Trusted Sites list?

Assuming you are accepting the default IE Security zone settings
(recommended) navigating to an intranet site from a trusted site will fail
because of the default security settings (expected).

Regards.
