Unable to post forum questions/replies after update
(too old to reply)

I ran WinXP SP3 upgrade, which downgraded IE from 7 to 6, and now I am unable
to post forum questions/replies. I am posting this question from a different
computer to get it to work.

When I click on new question or reply to an existing one, it just re-loads
the page and never pops up the dialog I am using right now to post this
question.

Ideas? What control or add-in is used to enable the posting of questions
here? Maybe that will give me a clue where to look for a solution.

You will get a far better experience of newsgroups if you use a proper
newsreader instead of that slow and quirky web interface you are
using.

Installing WinXP SP3 does *not* downgrade IE7 to IE6.

My misstatement. I noticed that after the SP3, I got an initial -time popup
concerning some v6 stuff (address book, etc.) and thought it affect IE also.
I actually forgot to check the IE version before posting.

The question persists for me, though: how do I get IE to open the
question/reply popup window on that computer?
