Can anyone out there help with some information that will help me to regard
and issue I am having with the Blackboard testing environment on IE6? 64 bit
Vista Home Premium? Also, I would like to completely uninstall IE6 and reload
a fresh browser to assure that I am not missing any crucial files neccessary
to its working properly. I cannot seem to find IE6 on any of the Microsoft
websites. IE7 is totally incompatible in both Blackboard and Conquest testing
environments. any words of wisdom or possible hints to point me in the right
direction woudl be appreciated. I would greatly appreciate it if Microsoft
would start paying me for testing and research of their products, Adobe,
Corel, AutoCAD, and other software firms are not doing this to me!!!!

Vista comes with IE7, not IE6, by default. You cannot downgrade to IE6.
The only way to reinstall IE7 in Vista is to reinstall Vista.

You might meet with some success by "spoofing" IE7's User Agent strings; cf.

[I would resist the temptation to install IE8 Beta 2 IIWY.]

Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to post to and seek
support in this newsgroup: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
