Customize toolbar

I am using IE 7 (could not find a discussion group for 7, so I am posting
here) with Vista Home Premium on my new computer. I cannot get my IE toolbar
to retain my custom settings. I unlock the toolbar and then move my links to
share a toolbar with the Norton buttons (there is plenty of room), then I
lock the toolbar and it stays there until I close my browser. Then when I
open my browser again, it is right back there where it was before. This is
so frustrating! Anyone have any ideas??

Please try the IE7/IE8 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
