I am using XP Pro and IE6.

Lately I cannot watch some videos and on some websites I get the "Page
cannot be displayed."

What could be wrong?

TIA

Mostly it is wesites dealing with the stock market. I sometimes watch
videos of the tutorials and there are occassions when it is just a blank.
Not always though. Recently one site was a tutorial on a pdf document and I
could not get it, but I could get many others.

Upon emailing the authors, they advise me to check if I am enabling the
cookies and check the internet and browser settings, but I don't know how to
do that.

Hope you can help me to check the settings first before we go into other
things.
Thanks

So I'll have to wait for the next cases that appear, as the ones in question
are no more with me, but discarded or forgotten about. In the meantime could
you pls guide me on how my cookies and others settings should be. At least I
may be able to correct some problems there.

Today I could not view the above site. It just would not fully load and all
I see after so many minutes is a blank white screen.

Check with View Source (Alt-V,c) if it is really "blank".

Also, see if using https instead helps:

https://www.tradingtrainer2.com/blackbox/login

FWIW both URI work fine in IE8rtw.
I don't have IE6 installed to test with.

What Robert said. (Both the HTTP and HTTPS URL loaded here in IE7/WinXP
SP3, but not very quickly.)
