My manager is getting this error when he tries to load FRx:

The following add-on was running when this problem occured: hcalc32.ocx.
I've re-registered the file, and that did not fix it. I've reinstalled FRx.
No go. Any thoughts?

The hcalc32.ocx file is used in FRxForecaster 6.7. Are you working in
Forecaster or in Reporter. If the issue is in Forecaster 6.7, I would
uninstall the web client components and reinstall. Make sure that the
Forecaster web site is added to the trusted sites in IE explorer and that you
select the option to always look for new updates when logging into the site.
Also you did not specify your IE version. IE 8 is not supported.

Thanks for writing back. I have tried removing and reinstalling, and
unfortunately, I am getting the same error. It is FRx Forecaster, not
reproter. Any other thoughts? The PC is running IE 6, and it is up to date
from an FRx stand point.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by launching FRx. If he was trying
to print something then it may be a problem with the printer applet.

1 - Completely uninstall client components from workstation using Add/Remove
programs.
2 - Then locate the client components folder and delete it if not already
deleted.
3 - Install client components by saving locally and running locally.
4 - Locate and run smsx.exe.
5 - REgister hcalc32.ocx on workstation.

You should also make sure that you have cleared all temp files and cookies
from this machine. Check the version of the smsx.exe this machine has versus
a working machine. Last year February we had a new hot fix for the printing
applet as the license expires periodically. Maybe this particular machine did
not get updated.
