Discussion:
Force IE back to a page automatically

What I am looking to do is force IE back to a page automatically after a
page not found error when I lose connecivity due to a wireless deadspot.

I know this sounds weird, but I was able to do this on an XP Prof
workstation with WSH running in the back ground.
The WSH script would launch that instance of IE and then check every x
number of seconds to make sure it was at the desired URL, if not, the script
would force it back to the correct web page. This was in done so that nework
drop outs (don't ask) could be recovered from automatically.

Now I am on Windows CE 4.20 and WSH does not seem to come with it, so I am
trying to come up with a equivalent alternative.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

And David suggested that you post your query to
microsoft.public.windowsce.app.development newsgroup instead. I am taking
the liberty of forwarding this reply to that newsgroup via crosspost.

My question was about IE. How do you reload a page that has gone into "page
not found error"?
This would be for IE not CE because it is a web page in a web browser which
IE is and CE is not, or am I not understanding something?

Based solely on David's reply, it looks like you're not understanding
something.
