Ajax code within Web Slice

Can you use AJAX code within a preview page that's going to be used for a web
slice? My web slice will be loading information pulled from another source.
I'm using AJAX to pull the content but it's not working in the web slice.
The page loads fine if viewing the page in an IE8 tab.

You won't find too many IE8 users reading here. ; )
But you won't find too many web developers reading here either.
Try the MSDN web forum for IE web development instead?
