In IE8, there is a button on the extreme left of the bar that is a yellow
star with a green arrow in it, called the "add to favorites bar" icon. It
seems to add the current page you're on onto the Favorites Bar. I often hit
this by accident (when I want to add something to the favorites bar, I prefer
to drag it from the address bar. Is there any way to get rid of this button?

TIA

If you don't need the Favourite Toolbar, you can hide it from the View Menu

Sorry PA Bear--I couldn't tell that that's where the IE8 questions should go.

Trevor, I want the favorite Toolbar, just not the "add to favorites bar" icon.
