Discussion:
Can I open a new window maximized
(too old to reply)

When I click on a link in a web site that opens in a new window, the window
opens the full height of the screen but only about 2 inches wide. I have to
resize the window manually or click the maximize button. Not sure why this
has started happening, it never used to open like that.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can set so all new windows open
maximized?

I have set my first window to open maximized when I launch internet explorer
but I can't figure out how to maximize new windows.

Thanks in advance for any help

"Grab" the corners of the smaller window & "stretch" it to the desired size.
Do NOT maximize it.

Now close all other IE windows, then close the resized window. The resized
window MUST be the last window closed for its size to be remembered.

Or just install http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/

I tried resizing the window and closing it as I thought that was it, but I
didn't close it last. Works great now, thanks for the advice.
