How do I remove AT&T logo from browser/connection title bar?

Hello,
I'm a former AT&T ISP customer, and wish to remove all
the commercial ads they have in the title bars on browser
and connection dialog boxes. Any help in how to resolve
this is greatly appreciated.

My brother has the METALLICA logo where AT&T should be. I have no clue how he did it.
