Hi,
Windows XP? XP-SP2? XP-SP3?

Do the problems persist if you go to Internet Options> Advanced and uncheck
"Enable third-party browser extensions?"

Do the problems persist after clearing the Temporary Internet Files, History
and Cookies?

What third-party security programs are installed and running?

I am having a few problems with Internet Explorer. I was trying to fix
the
issues myself by downloading things from the Microsoft website but
everytime
I try I fail because the issues I am having won't let me proceed. I keep
getting an error report stating that my Internet Explorer has encountered
a
problem and needs to shut down and also getting an error message stating
Page
Cannot Be Found. Everytime I go to try to fix the problem one of the two
issues I am having stops me dead in my tracks. I am getting so fed up
with
this, I can't even use the Internet anymore because of this. WHAT AM I
SUPPOSED TO DO????? I am using Internet Explorer 6 because I am not able
to
download anything else due to the issues listed above.

Thank you for responding Don. I did clear my cookies and history and
unchecked the 3rd party browser extensions but I'm not sure where to find if
I have 3rd party security programs installed. Also I am using Windows XP.

Hi,
Did disabling browser extensions or clearing the Temporary Internet Files,
History and Cookies help?

To see what security programs are running, look at the System Tray (right
end of the taskbar.) You're looking for programs like antivirus,
antispyware, firewalls, etc.
