Post by VanguardLHPost by rockUsing IE6 Suddenly one of my favourite websites will not load - or
at least it loads, the message reads "done" but there is a blank
screen - all other websites load normally. The site in question
will load on Netscape and Firefox so I assume it is an IE problem
Anyone any dieas ? Thx
Oh, you want unfocused help on an UNIDENTIFIED web site. Guess
it's one of those adult entertainment sites you don't want to admit
visiting.
yes it's adult but pretty bland - a blog -
http://www.laylajadereturns.blogspot.com/
[I won't touch that page with /your/ 10 foot pole!]
To PA Bear:
Stop exaggerating. There isn't a guy that wouldn't be proud to have a
ten INCH pole. (nyuck nyuck nyuck)
To rock:
To get into the blog requires enabling on-click mouse events in their
script (so scripts must also be enabled). It also requires ActiveX be
enabled. For a blog? Geesh.
Guess I'm too old or too out of touch with porn, even the soft stuff.
Have no idea who is this Layla Jade person. I have cable TV but I
don't subscribe to those "special" channels. Guess this must be her
blog. I didn't bother to read anything, just to see if something
non-blank showed up in the web browser, and there was stuff that
painted in the web browser so it "worked" for me but only after
allowing the script mouse tricks and AX.
Since I didn't read it but assumably it would be something about
advertising a porn gal's wares, I have to wonder if this blog doesn't
violate Google's policy against using their blogs for advertising.
"Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the
primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a
monetized pornography site." I don't really care. It is, after all,
just another blog and I don't do blogs (either read them or have one).
Maybe someone else might feel the urge to purge (by reporting this blog
as an abuse of Google's policy).
rock should try a purge. To rock, that means keep BOTH hands on the
keyboard or one on the mouse and the other on the keyboard neither of
which is located on your person! Try a purge of the browser TIF cache.
Maybe disable any ad-blockers, too. I certainly wouldn't do it but he
wants to go there so maybe add the blog to his Trusted Sites security
zone. I have no idea if Google prevents any malicious content to be
used within a blog. Of course, Google has no control over the links to
other sites in this porn blog.
