Using IE6 Suddenly one of my favourite websites will not load - or at least
it loads, the message reads "done" but there is a blank screen - all other
websites load normally. The site in question will load on Netscape and
Firefox so I assume it is an IE problem Anyone any dieas ? Thx

Oh, you want unfocused help on an UNIDENTIFIED web site. Guess it's one
of those adult entertainment sites you don't want to admit visiting.

To PA Bear:

Stop exaggerating. There isn't a guy that wouldn't be proud to have a
ten INCH pole. (nyuck nyuck nyuck)

To rock:

To get into the blog requires enabling on-click mouse events in their
script (so scripts must also be enabled). It also requires ActiveX be
enabled. For a blog? Geesh.

Guess I'm too old or too out of touch with porn, even the soft stuff.
Have no idea who is this Layla Jade person. I have cable TV but I
don't subscribe to those "special" channels. Guess this must be her
blog. I didn't bother to read anything, just to see if something
non-blank showed up in the web browser, and there was stuff that
painted in the web browser so it "worked" for me but only after
allowing the script mouse tricks and AX.

Since I didn't read it but assumably it would be something about
advertising a porn gal's wares, I have to wonder if this blog doesn't
violate Google's policy against using their blogs for advertising.
"Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the
primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a
monetized pornography site." I don't really care. It is, after all,
just another blog and I don't do blogs (either read them or have one).
Maybe someone else might feel the urge to purge (by reporting this blog
as an abuse of Google's policy).

rock should try a purge. To rock, that means keep BOTH hands on the
keyboard or one on the mouse and the other on the keyboard neither of
which is located on your person! Try a purge of the browser TIF cache.
Maybe disable any ad-blockers, too. I certainly wouldn't do it but he
wants to go there so maybe add the blog to his Trusted Sites security
zone. I have no idea if Google prevents any malicious content to be
used within a blog. Of course, Google has no control over the links to
other sites in this porn blog.

try this simple thing. Clear out your cache. Go to tools, internet options
and there will be options for delting temporary internet files and cookies
and so on. delete them all. Close Internt Explorer then reopen it. If that
does not work since you can access other sites the problem lies with that
website not internet xplorer. Let me know what happens so I can improve my
support knowledge.

Thanks Kaja - did all that - no change.
It still gives all the messages that it is "downloading"downloading...so
many items" etc and then reads "done" There are scroll bars at the side - so
something has downloaded - yet the viewing window is blank(white)

It was working until recently. Works on my PC with Netscape and Firefox and
on my laptop with IE (may be IE7)

Any ideas ?

I have the same issue which just began about 2 weeks ago. I have two
different computers on one network and both try to download the website but
end up with a white screen. one is KSL.com and another is a used car
website. These are the only two I have any issues with. I've tried deleting
all temporary files and rebooting but it didn't help. I've even checked my
firewall in case I have inadvertantly set something to prevent these sites
from loading.

A neighbor a couple of doors down uses the same ISP but can get to the
website. I've also tried connecting my computer directly to my cable modem
but get the same results. I don't know what to try next.

one is KSL.com
Is that the full URL you try to use?

telnet shows that it might get an HTTP 403 - Forbidden
respsonse. In order to see HTTP responses you could
try using the Show friendly HTTP error messages
option (in Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section).

and another is a used car website.
Which lack of specificity makes it even harder
to make suggestions about.

You should also use default security settings.
E.g. this symptom could occur due to too tight
security settings.

Good luck
