I have an FTP server that I want to login into usuing Internet Explorer.
Heres the problem. I can log into it with one computer but not using the
other. I type in the FTP address in the IE web broswer and both the computers
give me the pop-up window that asks for user name and password. After typing
in the user name and password Computer 1 works well and takes me into the
folder I want to be in, HOWEVER Computer 2 give the message "This Page cannot
be displayed". I tried going to "Internet Option" -> "Advanced" tab and
playing around with the check boxes "Enable folder view for FTP Sites" and
"Use Passive FTP" but did not help. Do you know how I can change the settings
on my computer to to access the Ftp folder. I dont want to use an FTP s/w
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Without knowing (1) the Windows versions (including SP levels), (2) the IE
versions, and (3) the update status of each machine, we can't help you here.
