Hi all,
Just wondering if someone can help me out with an issue we are having
with Microsoft Download Manager in IE6, we can download older software like
office 2003 etc.. but anything newer like Office 2007 just crashes straight
away?
If anyone has any thoughs I would much appreciate your input, cheers

... Ok.

So what we did was we have this computer which runs windows XP on a
corporate domain. It has, as part of our standard operating environment,
Internet Explorer 6. A user has downloaded Microsoft Download Manager and
installed it on said computer. When the user downloads a package which is a
few years old the download completes successfully. When downloading a package
created more recently the download crashes without downloading anything at
all.

Has anyone perchance seen anything similar to this issue? or will we get
another answer typically microsoft - technically correct, but completely
useless.

Again, there is no "Microsoft Download Manager."

That being said, some MS customers may have MS File Transfer Manager
installed: http://transfers.one.microsoft.com/ftm/default.aspx?lcid=1033

Is that what you're referring to?

Arrgh! So what is this guy trying to do? I might have to go down to visit the
client... this is turning into one of "those" jobs. Somebody shoot me.
