I have been trying to use the ABC full episode player to watch my TV shows.
It says that I need to enable JavaScript. I have gone to Tools/Internet
Options/Security and scrolled down to the scripting area. I have clicked to
enable everything involving scripts and yet today I visited the IE (7) help
site and it proclaimed that I do not have scripting turned on. I still can't
get the ABC player to work and I've been trying for 3 MONTHS. Does anyone
have any ideas/suggestions?

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
