So for the past few days when I open a new instance of IE 6 (on XP SP3) it
won't load a page, it shows the server 123.123.1 or whatever and it just has
a blank page like it's trying to load forever. Now, if I go to an instance
that's already open, I can nav the web just fine - it only does this on a new
instance.
So I went to Options Programs and did a Web Reset to restore original
options and then it works fine for the next 4-5 times I launch IE, then it
starts again. And the odd thing is, I have to go back into an already open
and working session to do the reset - it won't work if I try it from the
frozen instance.
Any guesses? Also, I am wondering what all the Add-Ins are. I disabled some,
but there are 6 screens worth of add-ins when I click on that button under
programs and I have no idea what most of them are. I am wondering if
something is in there causing this, but where to start?
HELP!
Thanks,
