Hi All,

This morning one of the users IE 6 started hanging. I tried to copy the
Internet Explorer folder from Administrators Application Data folder in
Documents and Settings to the Users Profile in the same location. It did not
solve the problem. I tried making the user a local Administrator then it
worked. If i remove the user from Local admin group it keeps hanging. I am
not sure what would be the solution for this problem. I will be much
appreciated if some one can help me out with this.

Hi Ash,

This is just a guess as your descriptions were a bit vague, but most
problems are caused by Addons.

Tools>Internet Options - Advanced tab, uncheck "Enable third-party browser
extensions (or Browser Helper Objects)"

Restart the browser.

If this fixes the problem you will then have to troubleshoot to find the
problem Addon or you can use Group Policy to disable the above setting so
that users can't turn it back on.

Regards.
