I have been using the latest version of outlook express to post messages on
newsgroups. I haven't been able to change from double-space to single-space.
Can someone tell me how that's done?

Double line breaks?

Are you composing your posts in Word?

Your post here looks fine to me. Does it to you?

Look! => OE-specific newsgroup:

I am now using Microsoft's web interface. The problem comes when I post
using Outlook Express. When I copy lines of programming code, the lines are
double spaced. I didn't realize I could compose in Word using Outlook
Express.

And from where are you copying this code (e.g., MS Word or WordPad)?

IN RE the issue at hand: Copy/paste the code into Notepad first, then
copy/paste from Notepad into your email.

NB: Make sure Notepad: Format | Word wrap is NOT checked!

IN RE composing (HTML) emails in Word: If you must do so, only use ENTER to
begin a new paragraph; to begin a new line, use Shift+ENTER. (The same
might apply to your work in VB.)
