IE 7 isn't so "quick and easy". For some reason my settings are not able to
be saved and the "Applying Settings" has been there for like 3 years now.

Please try the IE7 group.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you must use a web interface:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

You might have a look at a few of these first:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22customize+your+settings%22&rls=com.microsoft:en-au&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1

IE6 doesn't have tabs.

Those with IE7-specific questions or comments are asked to post to and seek
support in this newsgroup: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

Customize Your Settings tab keeps popping up to activate settings, but it does not activate. How to solve it to get rid of this window message tab ,or activate the reply, and thus get rid of it. Anyone knows how to do it. It is a pain in the neck to see it very time you open IE 7. You have to go to home page to get rid of it , and then it starts all over again.
