This keeps popping up. In fact it did it as I started typing this. When I
hit the back button it took me back, but this doesn't always fix the problem.
For instance if I go to Games on msn, it goes through everything and then
says action cancelled and when I hit play again the sane thing happens. I
already checked the filename for Hosts and Hosts is there without anything
else. Can anyone help, this is driving me nuts.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA or Geek Squad) computer repair shop.

Thanks so much. I installed AdAware, saved it,downloaded and updated it and
then deleted 47 infections and so far it seems to have done the trick. I
can't thank you enough

YW & thanks for your feedback.

I would STRONGLY recommend taking the additional step of posting your
HijackThis log in an appropriate forum for review by an expert in such
matters.
