File Protocol Jpg Image Blocking in I.E 6.0 SP2

Hi All,

My online application has a provision of viewing JPG image using file
protocol.I've used System.Web.UI.WEbcontrol in .Net 2003.My client browsers
has I.E 6.0 Sp2 with Windows XP OS.My Server has I.E 6.0 sp1 Windows 2003
Server SP2.
My client browsers doesn't allow to view the JPG image through my application.
But the same application runs well on I.E 6.0 sp1.We found that the later
versions of I.E such as(I.E 6.0 sp2,I.E 7.0,8.0) doesn't support file
protocol JPG.

How to fix this issue?Do I have to run any I.E patches on my client browsers
or to change my application code?

Do i have to modify any registry settings?

Any kind of suggestions or codes would be greatly appreciated..
