Is it possible to get the favorites folder to display it's sub folders in 2
or more columns?

Hi,
You might try navigating Favorites this way- it works well for me on this
small (15") monitor.
Browse to Documents and Settings\your account\Favorites. Create a shortcut
to that folder on the desktop. Drag the shortcut to the Quicklaunch bar (if
desired.) Browse the Favorites folder via Windows Explorer. Double-click a
Favorite to access that URL.

It's not clear to me what you think is missing.
Alt-a shows me nested folders in multiple columns.

Otherwise I think whatever it is might only happen
if you had a desktop.ini in each subdirectory.
So far, the only one I see it in is Links.
