Sometime, but not always, pictures do not show up on a web page. All that
is there is a square with a red X in the upper left corner. This doesn't
happen all the time, but it happens increasingly as I browse the internet.
Eventually it gets often enough that I get annoyed and restart my PC. Then
everything is perfect for a while, but the problem will reoccur in time.
Any ideas? My TIF settings: 'Every visit to page', 300 mb disk space to
use. Deleting TIF files does not help, only a restart will fix things
temporarily.

I think I answered my own question...

I'm using AVG, I think it must be blocking some of the scripting and/or
ActiveX, Java, etc.
