hallo

is there a search engine able to find web pages, given a snippet of html
code as keyword?

in example, giving this:
<td colspan="6" style="height:58px"><img src="maradona.jpg" alt=""
style="width:80;height:58" />

Chances of finding a snippet of code containing "maradona.jpg" are very
slim.

mmhh, are you saying that Google is able to do this?

if you go to google and type:
"La storia di tutti i successi e dei suoi protagonisti, le conquiste fatte
con determinazione e coraggio"
Google regularly finds this
http://www.ferrari.com/Italian/Pages/Home.aspx

but

if you type
<div class="WF_Float_Left WF_Item_SubContent_Top_Col1">
that is a snippet contained in its html code
Google finds nothing

Am I missing anything?

You might find some generic instances of code but I'd very much doubt you'd
find such specific, keyword instances.

if i may keep on discussing this here,
let's put in other way:

- i'm a webmaster
- i develop a very good page (for a person who purchased it)
- i publish it
- someone downloads it, changes its content (but mantains the html
structure inside because he saw it is a good page) and publishes it
without paying me
- how/where can i put some html code inside my page, so i can trace
this illegal duplicated web page, by using Google (or others search
engines)?
