I am going to be installing win7 on a new hd.
Can I go into owner and copy the favorite folder,
then when the new hd has everthing in it,
put that fav file into the new versiu of IE, which I am assuming will be 8?
Or do I just copy the links into the new favorite folder in win 7?
thanks Bruce

You can do either or use the inbuilt facility.
Use IE-File-Export and create a single HTML file for later use with
IE-File-Import.

Well, you won't be using IE6, that's for sure.

Thanks, Yea I know that is why I want to back my favorites up.

Have had a few sites already warning and saying you are using an older
browser, and we will not be supporting it soon.

Unfortunately for me, I like (d) 6.
I don't like the setup of 8, though hopefuly I can move that address bar
where it is in 6
Guess I should of downloaded it before and goteen use to it lol

thanks for the link
