Internet Explorer 7 ad "Get It Now"

I have this ad on my pc that displays whenever I try to access Internet
Explorer 7.

It is the "Get It Now" ad for IE7 and the Beta IE8. How can I get rid of
this ad?

Sorry... Previous advice was for IE7. Are you running IE6? If so, go to
Internet Options> Advanced and uncheck "Automatically check for Internet
Explorer updates."

Look for
"Problem: IE always goes to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx instead of your
homepage"
at http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
