Missing something

This may be an add-on but at one time not long ago when I highlighted
something in IE and then put my mouse over the word or words a small yellow
shape would appear and I could put the mouse on that and a menu would appear
and one of the things it would offer to do is look up the word in a
dictionary or to search for the word. There were other options but I did
not use those as much.

Does anyone know what I am talking about. I noticed recently that I had not
seen that appear and I would like to get it back but I do not even know what
to call it.

The Google toolbar has features like those. I suspect you had it installed.
