1 Try to optimize the Internet Explorer by following

Start >> Control Panel >> Internet Options

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type Inetcpl.cpl, and then press ENTER. Internet Options opens
On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
In the Delete Files dialog box,
Click to select the Delete all offline content check box.
Click OK.
Wait for the temporary Internet files to be deleted. This might take only
several minutes in some cases.

Check for the IE 7 traces:

Strat >> Run >> c:\windows\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe
If removal of IE7 wizard comes up uninstalll the IE7 & restart the computer

Try running the online scans fromSafe Mode with Networking
